I got slightly obsessive with David Mach after seeing his sculpture in the Power of Making exhibition (which is on until 2 January 2012) at the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum), showcasing an impressive sculpture made out of hundreds of coathangers – constructing something amazing out of ordinary objects. Check his collection of coathangers sculpture HERE.

Perplexing and amazing, a dizzying experience at Anish Kapoor‘s exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts. A room filled with reflective sculptures disorientating the viewers.

Future Fashion Now at the V&A is exhibiting exciting works from selected MA graduates from the Royal College of Art. Also, featuring shoes, accessories, and preliminary sketches and designs. The envy is creeping in, so, I’ll have to work harder for my final year.

This, unfortunately, is not available in the shops, but I’m sure a different version is. Check it out at the National Maritime Museum. The hanging mittens are adorable.
All science enthusiasts should head to the marvelous Hunterian Museum (at the Royal College of Surgeons), which houses jars upon jars of animal and human anatomy. It also contains anatomical artefacts, surgical and dental instruments, as well as John Hunter’s collection of paintings.
