JOE WEBB

Joe Webb‘s collage works are just brilliant. The artist has created exciting and humorous collage works by mixing vintage images – placing figures against surprising and unnatural places, adding tribal mask to a well-dressed person, and cutting out faces – creating surrealistic scenes.

photo collage by NACHO ORMAECHEA

Simplistic but very interesting photo collages by Nacho Ormaechea. Using Photoshop, Ormaechea – a graphic designer and an art director – has created doorways to another world, a place that is a complete contrast to the location where the original photographs were taken. Possibly a place where the photographed person would want to escape to.

GEORGE CHAMOUN

I love George Chamoun‘s collage works, where he carefully assembled and morphed old photographs (of old celebrities) with photographs of (look-a-like) modern celebrities. The results are incredible,  giving new meanings to the old black and white photographs. Check the rest of the images @ laboiteverte.fr

CUT-OUT by meriç canatan

Tribal futurism comes to mind when looking at Meric Canatan‘s cut-out/collage works. Click on the image to see her work or view her portfolio (behance.net).

The SARTORIALtwist

I came across this cool and ‘random fashion generator’ via Pages Digital. It’s The Sartorialist with a twist, aptly named ‘The Sartorialtwist’. In a collage-like form, it creates random and new style/fashion inspirations using images (3 images per page) from The Sartorialist  blog. Check it out for yourself and be inspired.

‘RESEARCH’ (for Jenna Morley)

Collage/art work – dissected images from the COS lookbook – for Jenna Morley‘s magazine project.

photography: COLLIER SCHORR

Image grabbed from malemodelscene.net

Collier Schorr photographed Dmitriy Tanner and Chris Wetmore for Arena Homme, using cut-out/collage technique with vintage black and white tear outs resulting in images that are rather dark and melancholic. See more work HERE (malemodelscene.net).
